The idea that a direct democracy can work is absoulutly absurd, representatives 
prevent the ignorant and incompetent majority from abusing the rights of 
the minority.  In Colonial America, Townhall meetings were examples of 
direct form of democracy, although they had their uses, these townhall 
meetings also produced the witch trials.  Read up on your history.
