is governed by the General Assembly of its members. A General Assembly can be
held at any time of the year and questions in the form of referendum may be

CBC, This Morning, Dec. 5, 2000:
"Digital Democracy: Is Technology Empowering Us as Citizens?" Was at
http://radio.cbc.ca/programs/thismorning/sites/politics/digitaldemocracy_001205.html.
Audio: http://media.cbc.ca:8080/ramgen/radio/programs/thismorning/audio/tm_digitaldemocracy001205.rm.
CBC's links were mostly on how representative democracy (RD) governments use Internet to improve the old top-down approach, whereas on this site we have mostly "grass-root" links on the RD to DD transition.
Although the main interviewee of the CBC show David Agnew spoke against DD (direct voting), he
worked on projects (described at http://egov.actnet.com/public/research/beyond/)
that will eventually make possible the information flow essential for
informed decision-making by citizens in a future DD.
The other interviewee was Paulina Borsook.
